🌅 A Morning Reminder of Faith and Focus

Good morning, family!

Pastor Steve Chesney here from New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in beautiful Salem, North Carolina 🍂. As the fall air settles in, I can’t help but thank God for another day to grow, breathe, and believe. Coming off a big election week 🗳️, many of us are processing change and uncertainty. But through it all, one truth still stands strong — our hope doesn’t rest in political outcomes, job titles, or earthly systems. It rests in GOD alone. 🙏

“Have faith in God.” – Mark 11:22

Those four words hold the power to settle our hearts and strengthen our steps. No matter what’s happening around us, Jesus reminds us that faith in Him never fails. 💪

When the World Shakes, Faith Stands

Let’s be honest — this world feels unstable right now. Once “secure” jobs, even in government, have shown us that nothing on this earth is guaranteed. People are losing positions, industries are shifting, and institutions once thought unshakable are shaking. But that’s where faith comes in.

Jesus spoke those four words — “Have faith in God” — during a moment that tested His disciples’ understanding of trust. When the fig tree withered before their eyes, it wasn’t just a miracle; it was a message 🌿. Everything we lean on in this world can fade, but faith rooted in God will never wither.

đź’¬ Speak Life and Believe Boldly

Faith isn’t silent — it speaks 🔊. The Bible says to “call those things that be not as though they were.” That means we’re called to speak life even when things look lifeless. Whether you’re praying for a financial breakthrough 💰, healing in your body ❤️‍🩹, or peace in your home 🕊️ — your words have power when they’re backed by faith.

Jesus showed us that true belief starts in the heart. When you speak God’s promises with confidence and refuse to doubt, Heaven responds. So today, declare it out loud: “My faith is in God — not in fear, not in circumstances, but in His promises!” 🙌

Unshakeable Trust in an Uncertain World

People may disappoint you. Systems may fail you. Life may surprise you. But the Word of God stands forever 📖. Mark 11:22 reminds us where to place our foundation: in the One who never changes. So as you face today — and every tomorrow — remember this: trust not in the arms of flesh, but in the arms of your Father.

Faith doesn’t mean you won’t face challenges. It means you’ll have peace and power in the midst of them. 💥
So whatever you’re going through, lift your eyes, lift your faith, and lift your voice — because God’s got you! 💜
